User Guide

This guide will help you understand how to use the Alert-O system.

1) Announcements

This page shows official updates from CDRRMO (weather alerts, advisories, and important notices).

How to use
  1. Open Announcements.
  2. Browse the list (high priority posts appear first).
  3. Tap View Details to read the full message.
What to expect
Announcements are viewable even without logging in.

2) Evacuation Centers

This helps you find evacuation centers and view them on the map.

How to use
  1. Open Evacuation Centers.
  2. Tap My Location to show where you are (optional).
  3. Click a center in the list to focus it on the map.
  4. If your location is available, the system can show a route to the selected center.
What to expect
Evacuation centers are viewable even without logging in. Location access is optional.

3) Emergency Requests / Report Incident

Use this to request help or report an incident and send the location to the authorities.

How to use
  1. Open Emergency Requests.
  2. Select what you need: Emergency Request or Report Incident.
  3. Choose the emergency type and add a landmark/description.
  4. Set your location on the map (use Use My Current Location or locate by barangay).
  5. (Optional) Capture a photo.
  6. Submit and confirm the details.
Important
You can open the page as a guest, but to submit a report/request you must Login/Register first.
